With 36 tonnes lifting capacity it can easily handle fully loaded containers.It has the lowest tare weight on the market for any sidelifter model with a lifting capacity over 30 tonnes, from 7.1 tonnes with 20’-40’ capacity and 3 axles. The support legs move in a fixed arc and can be placed in two positions: on ground level or on top of a companion chassis or railroad wagon. The Hammar 160 is the best choice when you want to maximize your payload. It is excellent at lifting to/from the ground, and works well when transferring to/from some companion chassis.
